Formerly dedicated as St. Theresa’s on August 21, 1927.

In 1974 after being relocated to a new building, St. Theresa’s was rededicated as Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary. In 2006 the facility was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary has provided a Catholic Education to the following communities for the over 80 years.

Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary is accredited by the Mississippi State Department of Education, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SAC’s).
